Every Iconic session is intentionally crafted to create portraits that feel powerful, elegant, and enduring.
From professional hair and makeup styling to carefully directed posing and masterful lighting, every detail is designed to reveal the most striking version of you.
The Overview
During your session we will create two signature looks:
• A timeless, natural beauty portrait
• A dramatic editorial glamour portrait
The result is a collection of images that feel worthy of gallery walls, heirloom frames, and the stories passed down through generations.

Before Your Session
Once your Iconic session is reserved, you will receive a welcome email with your session agreement, a brief styling questionnaire, and access to our private client preparation guide.
This guide walks you through every step of preparing for your portrait experience so that you arrive feeling confident, relaxed, and ready to be fully present.
About two weeks before your session, you will receive a reminder email with final preparation details and styling tips. If you have inspiration images, wardrobe ideas, or a particular vision you would love to explore, we warmly invite you to share them with us.
Iconic sessions are collaborative and intentional. Your portrait will be thoughtfully designed with you in mind.
Preparing for Your Portrait
When you arrive at the studio, you will be welcomed by Allyssa and Cali and invited to settle into the space.
Before we begin, we will spend a few moments getting to know you — your story, your vision for your portraits, and how you hope to feel when you see your final images. We believe the most powerful portraits come from connection, not simply posing.
While Cali begins your professional hair and makeup styling, Allyssa will finalize lighting, wardrobe details, and the creative direction for your session.
Your styling will include two distinct looks:

• a dramatic editorial-inspired portrait
Every detail is designed to bring out your presence, elegance, and individuality.
Your Portrait Session
Once your styling is complete, we will begin creating your portraits.
You will be guided through the entire process with gentle, precise direction so you never have to wonder what to do. Allyssa will guide your posture, expression, and movement to capture the most striking and authentic version of you.
Iconic sessions are designed to be focused and intentional. Rather than producing dozens of images, we concentrate on crafting a small collection of truly exceptional portraits.
Your portrait session typically lasts about one hour. We encourage you to keep the rest of your day open so you can fully relax and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
Your Portrait Reveal
After your session, we will schedule a private portrait reveal and ordering appointment.
During this appointment you will view your finished portraits for the first time in a beautifully presented slideshow experience.
Together we will select the images that speak most strongly to you and discuss how you would like to display them — whether as heirloom wall art, a luxury album, or a curated digital collection.
Your reveal appointment typically takes place one to two weeks after your session and lasts approximately forty-five minutes.
This is often our clients’ favorite moment: seeing themselves in a way they never have before.
